Aldo Romano pays homage to the incredible nomadic journey of the multi-instrumentalist african-american Donald « Don » Cherry (1936-1995), missionary not only of a music without borders but also of a freedom infuriating labels and trends.
Joining him, Henri Texier, witness to the « Don Cherry-ian » adventure and two jazz voices of the 21st century : the alto sax of Geraldine Laurent, verbal and impetuous, and the sensational trumpet of Fabrizio Bosso, bristling with an almost jungle-like growl and primal mute effects. This « Complete Communion » transcends ages and styles, inviting us to share a new spring.
